Amoeba Music is coming back with a vengeance. Their Hollywood location was slated to close a little less than a year ago and replaced with a 28-floor high rise apartment complex…needless to say, music fans around the country were up in arms with the change. The Original Amoeba is down, but not out.

The famous music store will be moving to a new location “within blocks” of its old business, according to a new story by ABC7. Pulling a move akin to arcades adding alcohol to increase business, the new location is said to include a pot dispensary alongside the store. Their location in Berkeley already has a new spot called “Hi-Fidelity” that opened last month. Thanks to zoning laws, it’s the only pot store allowed in its district.
