Avicii Cancels Remaining Tour Dates Months Before Retiring Due To “Personal Reasons”

After announcing his retirement last month, Avicii has canceled all of his remaining Las Vegas shows. The announcement made via social media cited the reason for the canceled shows as “personal reasons”.

Avicii had 9 remaining shows at XS and Encore Beach Club Las Vegas. His first replacements will be Dillon Francis this Saturday at XS and Marshmello this Sunday at Encore Beach Club. For many fans, these were their last opportunity to see him live before he heads to Rock In Rio Lisboa and EDC UK. There is no word on if he will or will not be playing those dates as well!

Due to personal reasons @Avicii has cancelled the remainder of his 2016 @EncoreBeachClub and @XSLasVegas dates, as a result we are pleased to announce that @MarshmelloMusic will be his replacement this Sunday. Tickets holders will be contacted via email with further instructions.
