Tragedy has struck the UK festival, Bestival, after 25-year-old, Lourella Michie, daughter actor John Michie from Holby City, was found dead in the woodland. Police have arrested and are currently holding a 28-year-old man on the suspicion of murder.
The Sun UK, however, has reported that the Michie family has commented on their tragic loss and have released a conflicting statement that the death of their daughter was a mere accident as the situation develops.
“We’ve lost our angel. It’s not murder – they were friends. It was just a tragic mistake, a tragic accident.
This was not a murder.
She touched so many lives. She was so very positive, so bright, so out there. She had such energy. The tributes to her have been incredible.” – John Michie
Other sources are indicating that her death may have been the result of a substance Lourelle may have taken at the festival.
