The beautiful thing about Discovery Project(DP) releases is that you never quite know what kind of production will come next, but you know it’s going to innovate whatever style they approach. New York’s Choppa Dunks sent in a track that hits those expectations yet again with his new production, “Do Dat.”
The enticing baseline is all we needed to hear to rank the track in the same area as some of Trap’s biggest names, but the incomparably catchy hook from Snappy Jit(also responsible for Dillon Francis’s Candy) and the rapid but logical changes in energy throughout the song solidify this as DP’s 14th musical home run.
