Oh where to start with Dirtybird. The group of friends connected through music and DJ culture now hold countless titles as a record label, individual artists, and festival curators of Campout, which enters its third year in October. They are a staple, household name in the US dance music circuit and have an expansive support overseas.
One of their main leads, Claude VonStroke, has recently released a ruckus of an EP with labelmates Will Clarke and Sebastian V. Properly titled, ‘Works Well With Others’. Claude opens the airwaves with his collaboration with Sebastian V, ‘Daylight Dark Room’. An upbeat, melodic track that plays with darker acid elements pepper throughout the single.
‘Tiny Tambourine’ follows as the EP’s lead single which features a collaboration with the bearded Dirtybird player, Will Clarke. Don’t let the cheeky title fool you as ‘tiny’ would be the last adjective we would use to describe the growling bassline that pulsates throughout this banger.
