A request from Goldenvoice to increase the population size of Coachella and Stagecoach by 62,000 saw quite literally no opposition this week. Not only will the shows now be in the six digit range of attendance but the Polo fields will have 50 extra acres to make room for camping, ride shares, etc.

“We know that with the demand we have, we could do four Coachellas,” Goldenvoice Vice President Skip Paige said. “We could do five Coachellas with the amount of people that want to come to that show.” We know that with the demand we have, we could do four Coachellas,” Goldenvoice Vice President Skip Paige said.

The biggest reason behind the immediate excitement comes at no surprise: the consequential revenue from this expansion is another $1 Million. For fans, the wait at your computer will be that much less. We’re excited to see the turnout for the coming festivities and how much more lively it becomes.
