Her first release in almost 10 months, Los Angeles electronic music producer, Soul Bandit, is back with a brand new track. ‘Sleeping 2 Dream’ is the latest production to come from one of LA’s most talented beatmaker. We first connected with her back in 2017 when she dropped her tribute to dancing queen. Since then she’s put a handful of other tracks that span across genres of electronic music and has even had her sound design used for a the horror film, The Curse of La Llorona.
As with all of her music, ‘Sleeping 2 Dream’ is production that opens another door to Soul Bandit’s past life experiences. The lyrics provide context of how introverted minds would act (or not) on feelings when love is in the air. Did you muster up the courage to talk to your crush? Probably not. As beautiful as life is, insecurities and imagination can some times get the better of us. Beyond the track’s message, Soul Bandit has nailed it with this release. It’s fun, it pops, if it doesn’t make you want to dance right away, there might be something wrong with your dancing shoes.
