Diplo turns heads on an almost weekly basis, and todayâs announcement from his world is no different. He will be playing the inaugural afterparty for a festival that few Dance Music fans would expect him to even consider: Stagecoach 2019 ‘California’s Country Music Festival’. Dubbed âLate Night In Palemino,â the night will extend the party past itâs normal end time. In the one minute trailer advertising the show, the interviewer was about as puzzled as most must have been with the announcement. After mentioning his Grammy win for Silk City, she asked the all-important âWhatâs next?â question, to which Diplo happily answered with the bombshell that heâd be taking the stage after hours of Country music. This yearâs featured headliners are Lynyrd Skynyrd, Old Dominion, and Bret Michaels and as usual, it will be the third festival weekend in a row at the Empire Polo Fields after two consecutive weekends of Coachella.
