Discoveries is a multi-post series highlighting artists whose tracks impressed us enough to screenshot and Shazam from Night Owl Radio’s EDC Lineup Reveal mix. Look out for more artists like this both this week and next to get ready for the big festival. – GDE

This year’s Neon Garden will only have 17 artists spinning under its mystical disco ball. The Factory 93 themed experience means to give all of these DJs a healthy chunk of time to transport their artists to another place, and with 6 or fewer artists playing a day we get to hear a healthy chunk of each one’s tastes. One producer duo we’re quite excited to see bring us their all is Solardo, who’s track The Aztecs stopped us in our tracks at 36:08 on the Night Owl Radio Lineup reveal mix.

Releasing their first Dance track in 2015, Solardo consists of James Eliot and Mark Richards. Though they have only been electronic artists for a couple years, they have a longer history working on music, which shows in their releases. Their highly energetic productions have been supported by a slew of credible tastemakers such as Annie Mac, Skream, Adam Beyer, Loco Dice and Groove Armada to name a few, and we think it would be more than worth it to give their full set shot on your first day under the Electric Sky.

Check out their latest EP above and follow Solardo on Soundcloud to get to know them sonically leading up to the 16th. We especially recommend the Tribesmen EP. And make sure you checkout Solardo alongside Claude VonStroke and The Magician at Daylight Beach Club.
