Here’s someone to watch in 2019, the DJ/Producer based in London by the name of Yung Pretender. His latest release, ‘Interrupt Me’ puts him in line with great tech house and ghetto DJs such as Maala, Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, and Gene Ferris just to give you an idea of what flavor of dance music he brings to the table. The song gets to the point quickly with a deep vocalist mumbling lyrics to fat bassline and tech house accouterments. When asked about the tune, Yung Pretender had this to say:

I made this record influenced by early Dusky music. A moving bass line and tight drums with a groove. It’s an opener for Yung Pretender, as I wanna get people dancing.”

‘Interrupt Me’ and Yung Pretender has signed to Ultra Music and will be a top breakthrough DJ of the year to look for. His remix of Caitlyn Scarlett X Segal, entitled, ‘Nightmares’ put in on the global spotlight when it grossed huge support from international club and radio plays, including the legendary BBC Radio 1.
