If you were expecting anything below 95 degrees at this year’s EDCLV, we have a bit of a wake-up call to give you. The forecast for this weekend includes highs of 97 on Friday, 103 on Saturday, and 108 on Sunday.

In no way should this discourage you from going; it’s simply a reminder to keep yourself hydrated. We recommend bringing a reusable water bottle or camel back to take advantage of all of the free water stations on site(but don’t drink so much that you decrease your blood sodium). Also be sure to check out the misters and cool off zones around the venue. If you’re lucky enough to be a Basshead, the Basspod’s water cannons should tickle your fancy as well.

“Drinking plenty of water throughout the weekend is vital to your health and safety,” EDC promoter Insomniac states. “Drink water at regular intervals, especially in warm weather, and be sure to stay hydrated on the days leading up to the show.”

Remember that we should all be on the lookout for each other, and that means helping someone who looks like they need a drink of water or medical assistance. Be sure to know where the medical areas are on the map and look for a Ground Control member around your local stage.
