On November 12 and 13, Delhi is bound to experience what Insomniac claims to be a string of international and local artists “ever witnessed in the country.” The EDC brand has worked on including themselves in India for some time, so this securing of the dates of the festival is a big moment in the expansion of culture that Rotella wants to lat out. “Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by the country’s colorful and exotic culture, he told HuffPost India.

India, where EDM’s popularity was kickstarted by nightclub culture, bolstered by festivals like Sunburn and Supersonic, is its newest outpost.

“Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by the country’s colorful and exotic culture,” said Pasquale Rotella, founder and CEO of Insomniac Events, the events company behind the festival. “I know it’s a place where the magic of EDC can come alive in a truly unique way.”

More details on lineup and tickets (for those who want to make the trip) will come soon.
