If you thought ticket prices for festivals were getting ridiculous, you might want to take a look at the booking fees of an artist. In an interesting tweet by Deadmau5 over the weekend, the producer reveals that he gets paid close between 400k to a whopping 1 million dollars per gig. Apparently, he was paid just 200-250k only two year’s ago. It’s interesting to see how to explosion of dance music has increased the booking fees of certain DJs, which makes us question what will happen when booking fees get too big for their own good
