It’s not often(as a matter of fact, this may well be the only time) that fans have a say in the dates of a festival. Excision’s Lost Lands, despite going off without a hitch, can’t quite happen at the same time next year because of a conflict with Resonance Festival in that same venue. The festival now needs to take place a couple weeks earlier in September on the 14-16, or the next month in October. The T-Rex avatar-ed producer took to his Facebook Group to discuss this and get a better idea of what his fans want. This kind of transparent communication and openness to the needs of fans isn’t something that was possible before; it marks a milestone for the Dance Music universe in terms of fan influence on how their favorite artist steers their careers forward.
