As many a festival has proven, Gatecrashers ruin…pretty much everything. This pattern continued at Creamfields Peru, where the area in which people found an opening to easily sneak in happened to be backstage. While security moved swiftly to stop these protesters, they decided to get upset about the fact that they couldn’t attend a world renowned music festival for free and responded by violently throwing objects. This alerted Tiësto’s team to possible danger, causing them to leave with little notice.

Ironically enough, this same outrage by the failed gatecrashers happened in larger numbers at the mainstage of the event, in which people who realized Tiësto was not going on angrily protested by throwing bottles at the stage. Can’t we all just get along?
