The introduction of NWA to the Rock and Roll Hall of fame calls for celebration; so why not a show at Coachella? According to Consequence of Sound, the members of NWA (with Dre and Eminem performing in place of Eazy E) will all be present for Ice Cube’s set in the Polo fields. There’s plenty of excitement in the air with the release of Straight Outta Compton, not to mention Dr. Dre’s new album celebrating that same film. What we can look forward to more than anything, though, is the visual show and educational experience that Ice Cube claims he plans to give during that time.
