As North America’s largest dance music festival, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), prepares to return to Las Vegas June 17 – 19 to celebrate “20 Years Under the Electric Sky,” Insomniac takes fans on a journey through eight years of EDC memories with the video, The Road to EDC20.
The twelve-minute trailer montage features a retrospective look at the summer’s most anticipated dance music experience, highlighting the nonstop energy, life-size art installations, imaginative costumes, and legendary performances unique to EDC. The nostalgic trailer opens at the Los Angeles Coliseum in 2008 with a celebration of 65,000 fans, continuing on a historic journey to 2015 with an astounding 405,000 revelers at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
In less than two months, hundreds of thousands of Headliners will come together from all over the world to witness the magic created by Insomniac, with jaw-dropping production like no other, as EDC celebrates “20 Years Under the Electric Sky.” The 1,000-acre speedway will be transformed into a massive neon-lit playground, embracing music, art, creativity and self- expression.
