Latin superstar J Balvin jumped onto the Beats 1 airwaves with Zane Lowe to promote his fifth studio album, with news involving several talented names. For one, Camilla Cabello, who recently just dropped a #1 album, is set to collaborate with him on a track for what we imagine will be an unbelievably catchy Latin duet. Balvin, responsible for heating last summer up with ‘Mi Gente’, also had a couple of power-producers lined up to provide the beats for this LP: Pharrell Williams and EDM mega power Skrillex.
The latter artist is one whose recent moves we haven’t been shy about probing in search for clues on a new album scheduled for this year. We’d say the biggest clue so far is the second potential Latin-influenced beat he’s likely to put out. If this is any indication, we wouldn’t be surprised to see some of these same vibes filling the space of a couple tracks on this eclectic package of new songs. Who knows, you may hear Balvin’s vocals on the release too.
