Woodstock is such a legendary festival that it can afford to only happen once in a bluer moon. In fact, the non-frequency of this festival is what gives it its luster. Today, big buzz swirls around the event’s musical acts; namely, potential confirmations of four massive artists in today’s music scene. Miley Cyrus, Jay-Z, Halsey, and the Black Keys are all rumored to be confirmed for the epic 50 year anniversary of the American classic festival in Watkins Glen, New York. These rumored bookings also join Chance The Rapper, Imagine Dragons, Santana and the Killers in this would-be lineup for the festival. Co-Founder Michael Lang has been hard at work, apparently booking nearly 100 acts to the show. Whatever the artist roster, we know that The weekend of August 16th will be one for the books.

According to HITS Daily Double, there is also ongoing uncertainty about the festival capacity, which has reportedly been approved for 75,000 attendees. They report that original Woodstock co-founder Michael Lang, who is spearheading the anniversary festival, is pushing to get an increased capacity of 125,000 attendees approved.

Sit tight for the official announcement and hope that Dance Music will get some love too.
