Coachella is on its way, with next Friday sounding off Weekend one of the California classic festival. Desert Sun captured some choice shots of the beginning stages of the festival’s construction. The Empire Polo Fields are officially shifting to take in the thousands of revelers who will be dancing in them for three nights straight. There are also some choice aerial pictures of stages being constructed, including a megastructure and a big circular exoskeleton of a stage, which is strongly believed to be the official stage for Kanye West’s Sunday Service. Last weekend, Kanye announced he’s bringing his now famous Sunday Service exclusively to Coachella Weekend 2 for a special Easter service.

Coachella co-founder Paul Tollett told Billboard: “It’s challenging for us because we’ve never done this before… It was suggested, ‘Why don’t we try this in camping, since it’s in the morning and all the other campers are already there?’ Other people going to the show can come early, if they want [and they’ll be allowed in].” He added, “There’s different heights that Kanye is going to play with.” Tollett also said that anyone with a Coachella ticket will have access to the campsite to catch “Sunday Service.”
