Porter Robinson’s project Virtual Self left a strong mark with his Virtual Self Project’s most dynamic single Ghost Voices. The song almost feels impossible to remix, but San Francisco native Lane 8 transformed the high energy of the original into his own warm and sensual tune. The infectious vocal sample that Robinson pulled from Beatsaber takes center stage in the track, with serene melodies and a careful selection of drums to give the sample new meaning. Trying to pick a favorite between the two? Don’t; these two tracks are far too different to compare, and will both soundtrack the dancefloors they are played in with finesse.
