Lightning in a Bottle, North America’s premier multi-faceted boutique festival, today has revealed the phase 1 musical lineup for its 2018 event. This wide-reaching assemblage of some of live and electronic’s most sought-after names will act as an idyllic soundtrack for the diverse and beautifully unpredictable experience charted for attendees.

Lightning in a Bottle has earned its musical reputation by defying the often monotonous festival booking trends that define mainstream lineups today. By matching forward thinking curation with immersive stage design LIB offers creative containers through which these acts can be best experienced. Attendees may find themselves at the iconic Lightning Stage with the likes of Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Zhu, Griz, Fever Ray, The Glitch Mob, Sofi Tukker, Tune-Yards, Beats Antique, or Tokimonsta; at the Thunder Stage with Tipper, Modeselektor (DJ Set), Emancipator, Sango, Giraffage, Bleep Bloop, Clozee, and Random Rab, or at the waterfront house and techno haven, the Woogie Stage with Nicole Moudaber, The Black Madonna, MK, Stimming, Rodriguez Jr (live), Yotto, Patrice Baumel, Purple Disco Machine, Oona Dahl, Mira, Viken Arman, and more.

In Lightning in a Bottle music director and co-founder Jesse Flemming’s own words, “We’re definitely not trying to play the same game we are seeing with all the massive festivals these days when we book our music programming. Forget the big names you can see at 10 other festivals this year. For us the goal is to craft a musical playlist that will perfectly guide people along the experience we’re trying to create. We book each stage to be its own separate journey on any given day and we try to diversify it as much as possible so when you’re wandering around during the weekend you can always find something just right for you. This has been our goal since day one and it continues to shape how we book today.”
