Do LaB has just announced the lineup for the twelfth edition of the Lightning in a Bottle Arts & Music Festival, taking place Memorial Day Weekend, May 24th to May 29th at San Antonio Recreation Area in Bradley, CA. The announcement continues the festival’s tradition of serving up unique and trendsetting lineups that have helped sell out LIB tickets the last 2 years in a row as well as offer a preview of up-and-comers that will be headlining festivals around the country in the years ahead. In addition, this year’s lineup is a carefully crafted complement to the community spirit of the multi-faceted festival where participants gather to learn about environmental stewardship, elevate cultural awareness and unleash art across the landscape – all to the rhythm of multiple internationally acclaimed dance music stages.

With more than 100+ musicians converging at the festival, 2017 is set to be the most eclectic LIB lineup to date. Headliners topping the bill include the international hero to bass embracers everywhere, Bassnectar, who returns with a veritable earthquake in tow to relive the early days his career when LIB was held in Santa Barbara. Next, fresh off a chart-topping album release the famed electronic icon Bonobo is set to serve up his signature brand of lively, transcending grooves. For his first LIB yet, the high-octane UK-based sensation TroyBoi will join the fray and the venerable Rüfüs Du Sol will take a short hiatus from selling out shows across the country to bring a scintillating mix of live and electronic instruments to the mainstage. Plus, the Haitian-born producer Kaytranada will render a drum-heavy set to showcase ear-catching sounds from 99.9%, one of the most celebrated albums of 2016. At the illustrious Lightning Stage, house-heads will find something unique in the mesmerizing pop-savvy live electronic show planned by Bob Moses. Rounding out the top slots at the world famous Woogie Stage, legendary techno innovator Richie Hawtin will hand-deliver his seminal sound, and Leon Vynehall will offer his hard edged take on house music.

For the first time ever, music curators at Do LaB are packing new genres into an already expansive spread of musical delicacies, by adding trance elements like Hedflux and Perfect Stranger and drum & bass flavors like Ivy Lab and Calyx & Teebee. Do LaB has brought along a small army of top-end female movers and shakers of the industry too, including performances from Jhené Aiko, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, Wafia, Vallis Alps, Climbing PoeTree, The Seshen, Madame Gandhi, Elohim, Erica Dee, spacegeishA, tINI, Lauren Lane and MASHA – just to name a few.

The rustic rabble-rousers of festival revelry, The Grand Artique, are graduating this year from a fully immersive theatrical experience at the festival to a dedicated stage with a beefier lineup than ever. “The Grand Artique has been a growing fan favorite inside the festival for nearly a decade now and after last years incredible delivery with that magnificent stage and stacked.
