The promoters behind Mad Decent Boat Party are currently performing a huge headcount and sending out lifeboats in search of a passenger who has gone overboard. The problem was discovered earlier today when rumors were spread the person jumped instead of actually falling over. The boat has halted all events until everyone is accounted for, all stages have temporarily been shut down till further notice. A fan who is on board (@Zethussuen) is currently live-tweeting the situation but nobody has been found yet.

UPDATE (11/13/2015): Mad Decent has released another statement this morning stating the search for the missing woman is still underway and that the cruise ship is en route back to Miami.

We are deeply saddened by the news that one of our guests on our current cruise went overboard on November 12. The Coast Guard is now leading all search and rescue efforts and the ship is enroute back to Miami. The safety and security of our guests and the ship’s crew is our number one priority, all appropriate safety precautions will continue to be taken for this and all of our events. Our hearts go out to the family and all involved in this incident, and we will continue to support those affected during this difficult time.

Thursday, November 12 during the chartered cruise on Norwegian Pearl, a female guest was observed intentionally going overboard while the ship was sailing the Yucatan Channel. The ship’s crew immediately initiated rescue measures, including deploying three rescue boats and notifying the Coast Guard and other relevant authorities. The search for the guest is ongoing. Both the ship and charter company teams are providing support to the family and all impacted guests during this difficult time.
