After canceling their 2014 festival, Paid Dues announced they’ll be returning to Southern California on September 16th & 17th, 2017. The well respected Hip-Hop Festival was set to take over Pershing Square in Downtown Los Angeles next weekend with Lil Wayne, Ab-Soul, Freddie Gibbs, Nipsey Hussle, Raekwon & Ghostface Killah and the Grouch and Eligh all on the bill.
Today, September 7th, Paid Dues posted on their official social media channels that the Hip-Hop festival has been canceled as they “will postpone the festival until a date to be determined”. All fans that purchased a 2-day pass will get full refunds.
This is a huge blow to the Hip-Hop community in Los Angeles as everyone was looking forward to the return of the event. Hopefully, MURS and his people do decide to reschedule Paid Dues in the near future because we were really looking forward to attending this one.
