After Knife Party had their way with the crowd at Ultra’s Mainstage, Rob and Gareth joined forces with the much larger entity that they are a part of- the legendary force known as Pendulum reunited on stage to an accepting and excited crowd. It was a privilege to hear classics from the and such as Witchcraft and Ghosts N’Stuff with the band hitting each note and drum pattern with feeling and in real time, with one of the world’s best visual shows right behind them. As ironic as it is that an electronic festival closed with a live performance, this could signal the future for many musicians that want to add more to their own sets. If and when that becomes the case, we have Pendulums rich history and resurgence in 2016 to thank.
