“Some things are real. Some things we cannot understand.” With that cryptic line, Rezz kicked off a power hour at her second huge CircuitGROUNDS set at EDC Las Vegas. The set comes at a nice time; everyone’s accustomed to real life again and may need a little push to get the motivation back into their daily work lives. Rezz is arguably one of the most standout artists on the bill, known for dropping music in the 110-118 BPM range loaded with basslines and synths that sound like they were emailed to her from another planet. The set is a beautiful mix of brand new content, cuts from her EP that premiered in this same way last year, and even an appearance from Underoath’s Aaron Gillepsioe. The best part, a fan sound only gets in the way of the audio five minutes before that!
