EDM keyboard warriors, ready your torches and side eye emojis. Rihanna just released an ad for her “Fenty Beauty” makeup line and it features the eternally famous RL Grime original “Core.” Needless to say, the famous line from the track paired with the hard trap beat may have seemed strange when played over several women applying their foundation for the camera, flamed up and all. The artist himself praises the video, using not one, but three heart faces emojis to show his support. Whether or not you think this was a good move on his part is up to you, but we’re happy to see him succeed in breaking his music out to more people…you know, just in case this wasn’t already in their playlist.
