Sharing WIPs (Work in progress) is sometimes common practice in online fan forums, but many hallowed producers prefer keeping their work under wraps until it’s time to road test it at shows. Skrillex made the decision to be part of the former group this week, and we couldn’t be happier with the two clips he decided to share. “DISCORD TEST” is a two bar bass drop that’s quickly interrupted by mischievous sounding sprites laughing, and the second yet untitled WIP is an earthquake of a tune, slowing down the BPM so the Sub gets its time in the spotlight. Both of these tracks are bound to be a part of a bigger body of work, and we’d highly recommend keeping your antennae raised for a new EP announcement or something of the sort.
