Paul Oakenfold has just contributed to what will be one of the most talked about moves in dance music: an awards show for electronic music. Airing on Fox in April, the show is undoubtably going to be put under the magnifying glass of fans and critics alike. What will be featured as categories and who will be recognized? Will all genres be represented? And even if that is the case, will certain artists defect from the awards for fear of the commercialization of dance music?
