Music takes you on a journey, and that’s exactly what happened with Talon Majors, who is currently soaring under her pop pseudonym Velvet Winter. From the breathtaking the mountain ranges of Colorado to her current home base of Los Angeles, Talon has taken root in the city’s vibrant music scene. Debuting her ‘Crystal Heart’ music video, Velvet Winter sings her heart out in hopes to connect with those under distress.

“I hope to connect with people with troubled pasts whether its drug abuse, eating disorders, sexual orientation and others. My heart goes out to people with depression, PTSD and other illnesses that you can’t see on the surface.” – Velvet Winter

Majors herself underwent her own times of distress after experiencing a nearly fatal health scare back in 2015, which helped catapult her drive in music and find strength in a better tomorrow. ‘Crystal Heart’ is not your ordinary pop song, but draws immensely from the strengths that can be found during the darkest hours of human existence. The music video depicts Majors on the beachfront looking towards the great horizon, perhaps doing a little soul-searching and what the future may bring for her.

Velvet Winter is currently working on more projects with producers Andrew Furze and Todd Bergman. They will releasing more projects throughout the year.

“I truly believe everyone can find the strength to stand on their own and go after what they want. If you live in someone’s shadow you’ll always be behind your dream.” – Velvet Winter
