The backdrop for French Montana’s Avicii Tribute was astounding to watch; bathed in the morning sunlight, the stage overlooked parting clouds that let the sun through while the artist played “Wake Me Up” over the sound system of Landstreff Stavanger festival in Norway. Considering the nature of the tribute itself, the weather seemed more symbolic than anything. French Montana even remarked on the coincidence himself in his post about it:
“YOU WAS SHINING THROUGH THESE DARK CLOUDS ON US !! @avicii WHAT A POWERFUL MORNING,” Montana wrote.
Avicii’s legacy will live on in artists from all walks of the music world, and we’re happy to see several people still paying their respects.
