Give Skrillex four decks and 20 minutes and not only do you have a clever foreshadowing for future holidays, you also get a stadium full of heads having an amazing time at Zedd’s ACLU benefit concert. Though this may seem like a super short timeslot, to someone as seasoned as Sonny is, this is plenty of time. Mixing hip hop and electronic like nobody’s business, the OWSLA label head got everyone moving and thoroughly enjoying themselves the whole night, even bringing the energy to a euphoric end with his own collaboration with Diplo and Justin Bieber “Where are Ü now.” In that moment, he united everyone in a moment of loving silence with their phones lighting the massive room, bringing the set to a close and making it feel like a healthy hour and a half had passed.
