We’ve been receiving Tweets, DMs, and Facebook comments over the last several days from fans asking us if these HARD Summer 2016 lineups are the real deal or fake? Well we’re sorry to break it to you but they’re fake. Seemed everyone fell “HARD” for this years April Fools joke. Here are the facts…
1. Kendrick Lamar is headlining FYF Fest in Los Angeles less than a month later. They have him under a contract.
2. Destructo (Gary Richards) already confirmed HSMF will be 18+.
3. The LA State Historic Park is still under construction.
4. Vanilla Ice (Remember Ice Ice Baby?) Is listed on there like, come on? ????
5. The flyer itself is just plain crappy. HARD flyers are always top quality.
Bonus: Some of these acts are confirmed though ????????
1. Bassnectar is already hosting a festival, ‘Bass Center’, in Colorado the same time HARD Summer is happening. Sure! He can easily take a plane to LA for a quick set but we believe he’ll be way too busy making sure his own curated festival runs smoothly.
2. HARD have yet to mention any pre-sale beginning on April 15th, thats literally the first day of Coachella. HARD have always revealed lineups and/or more info AFTER Coachella is completely over with.
3. As we mentioned earlier, the LA State Historic Park is still under construction.
