Calvin Harris’s collaboration with Duo Lipa almost begs for a rework by somebody who understands the intricacies of the song like the back of their hand. After wrapping up another exciting album of originals that channel these same vibes, Zhu is ripe for the job. His remix of One Kiss takes the original vocal on a more pitched down path than normal, adding a sultry bassline and slow tempo into the mix. Zhu’s own signature vocals add a few phrases as well, providing a complement to Lipa’s morphed pipes. With its daring melodies and creative structure, the remix opens avenues for the song to be played in several more types of DJ sets.
