Cali-based superstar Max Vangeli has come a long way from his milestone collaboration with AN21 and Steve Angello remixing Pendulum’s “The Island,” not to mention a nod from MTV as an artist to watch. A few years later, Vangeli has surpassed a fulfillment of that promise by crossing paths with Armada Music and starting his own imprint NoFace Records. With the anthemic “Shine” featuring Francis Marvel & Kacie Marie kicking things off as the first release with an incredibly creative extension of a Nina Simone classic, the label is off to a striking start already. Vangeli promises to use this label to push a fresh sound outside of his comfort zone, and we can’t wait to hear what else he’s cooking up.
