Skrillex took a few minutes to discuss his future at the Grammys with Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio and had a lot to say about his upcoming work. Back when the LA superproducer was first nominated for the award, he mentioned that he was excited for his upcoming albums…and all anyone could do was fixate on the plural nature of the word. In the talk with Beats I Anchors Zane Lowe, Julie Adenuga and Ebro Darden, he revealed that the first finished product would be in our hands sooner than we think. He says he took his time with all of the releases to make sure he was fully happy with them. “Some of these are a year old now and they haven’t aged at all in my world.” At this point, he’s already in the process of filming videos for some of his finished tracks. The Beats 1 anchors themselves had a chance to visit his complex and take a listen to a couple of the songs he made, so they can attest to the wave that will hit us all when the album finally drops.

[…] I’ve never sat down and been completely tenacious about one of my releases like this.
