The two-man front line, DJ/Producer Armin van Buuren and Producer Benno de Goeij (Rank1), have been recording and producing together since the ‘90s. After producing numerous successful albums and a variety of hit singles for Armin van Buuren it was time to form a new group/alter ego called GAIA to captivate the synthesis between old and new and transcend genres.
The legendary Awakenings brand will be opening up ADE week with an insane lineup of DJ Rush, Charlotte de Witte, Paula Temple B2B Rebekah and many others!
After a barnstorming live reunion which saw them play to ecstatic audiences across Europe throughout 2017, Britain’s giants of electronic music Orbital are back for good – with new music and an upgrade of the legendary live show that transformed festivals across the world.
AME & DIXON all night will be a B2B show by two of the biggest icons of this time. The duo will be playing a 8-hour set from 22:00 till 06:00 at a unique ADE location: Warehouse Houthavens .
DGTL returns to the well-known Scheepsbouwloods for this year’s ADE. The Friday will be hosted by Paradise, Saturday by Outlier, but on Thursday DGTL is in full control. In order to match the industrial vibe of the Scheepsbouwloods, DGTL has invited no other than Nina Kraviz, Jeff Mills, Bicep [live], Floorplan, and many others!
Audio Obscura returns to the Loft in the A’DAM Toren with three after hours, complete with panoramic views of the city during sunrise.
Located on the Western outskirts of Amsterdam, the site is surrounded by heavy industry, massive oil tankers and scrap metal yards. Thuishaven has several stages, bars, surreal decoration pieces and curiosities. Incorporating materials purchased or found at neighboring scrap yards, the site radiates a raw and industrial atmosphere.
The Baron of techno returns at ADE 2018 with his legendary Dave Clarke Presents night. By now one of the most anticipated and best household name of Amsterdam Dance Event. This 14th edition is going to be a journey through techno in its broadest sense. From the enticing grooves by Sam Paganini to the relentless industrial sound of Rebekah. Add the likes of Marcel Fengler, Mark Broom and a live performance by Octave One and you’re up for a techno trip with the best from the past to the future.
All aboard! As Into the Woods sets sail to the NDSM Wharf a second time, on Friday and Saturday during ADE. Anchors aweigh, catch a breath and dive into two days of fun as far as the eye can sea. Their waterproof stages are opened from 12 noon to 11 PM with a promise of naughty-cal festivities. Go adrift and join them at their ADE weekender!
Afterlife is returning to Amsterdam Dance Event to present its first 24-hour party. Beginning at 2pm on Saturday October 20th and running through until the next afternoon, Tale Of Us curate two rooms to encompass everything Afterlife is about. The setting is the raw and striking Elementenstraat Warehouse, which will make for some spectacle when adorned with the signature Afterlife production.
It’s time to introduce a new member to the DGTL family: Outlier! Bonobo’s imprint will hit the Scheepsbouwloods on ADE’s Saturday.
You wake up at Breakfast Club. We’ll alight at RADION for a long-lasting daytime on Saturday 21 October during ADE. As always with a sharp selection of DJs and a freshly made breakfast that is included.
For the first time ever at Audio Obscura, Solomun will be taking the decks. The king of after hours, so well-known for his melodic and vivacious sets will provide the perfect soundtrack to your sunrise, and quite possibly far beyond.
The Martinez Brothers bring the sounds of their Cuttin’ Headz label to Warehouse Elementenstraat, alongside the FUSE London crew, on Sunday 21st October for an ADE closing party.
