Swedish House Mafia’s disbanding, as monumental as it may have been, was still only four years ago. In a new interview with BBC, Axwell states that he won’t say it absolutely will not happen, but he, Ingrisso, and Angello are happy where they are. Especially considering Angello’s newest album and declaration of a sound that’s a bit different that the old SHM style, we’d say it’s going to take a lot longer for the natural impulses to come for a reunion.
“I think we’re all in our happy places right now. Having said that it would be stupid of me to say never [to a reunion]. Maybe one day something will happen inside of us that says ‘boom’. But it’s more [likely to be] coming from us than at a festival.”
