A childhood dream of Bad Bunny’s is coming true.
The multi-platinum Puerto Rican rapper is performing “Booker T,” one of his hit singles from his new album love for the first time at the Royal Rumble WWE event this Sunday, January 31st. The event is streaming live on the WWE Network at 7 pm EST. Bad Bunny, who has been a fan of WWE for a long time, stated:
“Performing at the Royal Rumble is a childhood dream come true,” Bad Bunny said in a statement. “I have been a lifelong fan of WWE and I am excited to take the stage and entertain fans around the world.”
This performance will be the first time Bunny sings “Booker T” live. On the song, inspired by wrestling legend Booker T, Bunny sings about staying at the top of his game just like the wrestler, who stars in the singer-songwriter’s music video.
Bad Bunny was declared the #1 artist artists globally of 2020 by Spotify and has won many, many awards. WWE was thrilled to provide the global platform for the first-ever live performance of his song.
If you’re a Bad Bunny fan, a WWE fan, or both, tune in on Sunday, January 31st for the event.
