It’s almost February, which brings us closer to our time under the electric sky than before thanks to the new May date. One would also expect a lineup to arise sooner than later; The Festive Owl on Twitter just dropped some news you may be really happy about. Said Owl tweeted that Bassnectar will be headlining the big weekend with the rest of the roster rumored to be revealed on Valentine’s Day. Considering there’s no concrete source attached to this and the owl simply says he (she?) heard it from a source that has “provided headliners and obscure addition names in the past not only for EDC but others as well.”
You are welcome to take this news with a grain of salt. We can see this happening though – mainly because the DJ is now a regular resident at Insomniac’s other big event Electric Forrest so it seems fitting Bassnectar will play North America’s biggest dance music festival. Whatever the case, the full roster looks to be set for release sooner than expected. Keep in mind nothing is official til Insomniac decides when to drop the lineup on us. Don’t be surprised if we don’t see the lineup until late April or Early May. Insomniac is full of surprises and sure love to keep us on the edge of our seats.
