One of the most wonderful times of the year….lineup drop season continues! BUKU Music and Art Project, rounding out its 8th year in New Orleans, has just dropped its lineup. The spring festival, occurring March 22-23, booked a variety of artists, ranging from hip-hop to pop to EDM.
This year’s bill includes A$AP Rocky, FISHER, Lana Del Rey, Louis the Child, RL Grime, Dashboard Confessional, and Dog Blood. For some such as Dog Blood, it’s the first festival docket they appear on for 2019. Either way, BUKU has not disappointed, getting better each year.
And if you thought the headliners were impressive, the undercard just makes it even better: NGHTMRE b2b Slander, Dashboard Confessional (!?!), Fisher, The Black Madonna, Getter presents Visceral, Ekali, G Jones, 1788-L, Peekaboo, Yaeji, and way more, but also peep that From First To Last DJ Set.
As usual, Buku will include a live graffiti demonstration and collaborative mural including works by street art stars Ceaux, READ, Hugo Gyrl, Fat Kids, Jay, Dvote, Ink, J Hand Paints, Jedi, Knowla, Lipkis, Monica Kelly, Murky, Painter, PAWS and Swan.
