Daft as Punk is a band that plays tribute songs for the band at least 20% of Coachella goers think is going to show up as a surprise every year. Their fanbase is actually quite big in Europe- at least, big enough to allow them to recreate Daft Punkā€™s famous Alive 2007 pyramid for a special show at Dublinā€™s The Button Factory. The band announced the news last week and posted a post pre-sale price tag of 30 pounds for the October 20th show. This show may not be quite as insane as the original, but Daft as Punk have been going strong for about seven years and are willing to spend ā€œan arm and a f**kinā€™ legā€ for the stage design- weā€™d like to think this will be worth finding a good recording after all is said and done.

If you happen to be traveling through Europe when this is going on, be sure to snap us some pictures or tweet us @GlobalDanceElec.
