Deadmau5 Confirms He Won’t Be Playing EDC Las Vegas in 2018

We probably all guessed that Joel Zimmerman would use his weapon of choice, Twitter, to make some sort of proclamation that he wouldn’t be playing EDC Las Vegas summer 2018. But would you have guessed that Barry Manilow would be involved?

The singer tweeted at the producer first, asking if he would be seeing him at the Speedway, even indicating it as his life goal (sarcastically, of course). Deadmau5 replied and said he “wasn’t big on the whole EDC thing” in response but would hit Manilow up when he’s in the neighborhood. No news on a collaboration between the two…and no, we don’t expect one.

Though Zimmerman is not playing EDC anytime soon, he recently headlined an Insomniac warehouse event, so we assume any tensions between he and Pasquale Rotella have been simmered.
