Diplo is back on the decks for his newest Diplo & Friends Mix. For two hours straight you’ll hear a range of music from remixes of Daft Punk, to new releases on Diplo’s part, Mad Decent is represented well during this mix.
During the first hour of the mix, Diplo recalls tracks from his Hollertronix days in Baltimore when he was half of a duo. Hollertronix was the building block to stardom for Diplo and his entry into the music industry. During the second hour, he bounces onto some contemporary hip hop favorites and remixes that define his sound.
The whole mix is a definition of Diplo. Not only does he play music that describes is musical taste, he even adds a bit of commentary on his roots. The ability to mix a wide range of genres, and still creating to your own sound is a special talent that Diplo has.
