BBC Radio 1 can proudly say they started a radio revolution. Previously the home of Zane Lowe and now helmed by Annie Mac and Pete Tong, the station continues to break dynamic artists and powerful records alike. Annie had the honor of premiering a new record from House firebrand Duke Dumont “Be Here,” boasting an incredibly soulful vocal with tastefully placed horns, among other things.
Pete Tong had the honor of premiering Dumont’s follow up to Ocean Drive “Worship” as his Essential Selection, also releasing on Defected. Not every artist has the distinct privilege of being supported and premiered by two widely followed voices, and that should be reason enough for you to hit play below.
