It’s safe to say that a producer never literally wants their music to cause fires. EDC Orlando’s mainstage had a sudden accident during Kayzo’s set that sprung the festival’s staff and local firefighters into action. A video of the incident was uploaded to Twitter around 4:15 and the artist let everyone know to stay back a few minutes later. Luckily by 4:30 Pasquale took to his feed to let everyone know the stage was back up and running. EDC Vegas had a similar but bigger issue a couple of years back at the Bass Pod during Excision’s set, which caused some sound issues at the neighboring circuit grounds and caused the stage to close for more than an hour. From the looks of it, the team at Insomniac is even better equipped to handle incidents like this now.

Heads up, EDC Florida Headliners. The small fire at kineticFIELD has been contained and we are working with the fire department to make sure everything is safe before the music resumes. Hang tight! 💪😎

We’re about to kick the music back on for #EDCORLANDO but just a head’s up that there will be little to no pyro at kineticFIELD for the rest of the night. Love love! 😎
