This past weekend, Eric Prydz dedicated two live shows at Sound Nightclub for a fallen fan. James Lillo reached out to Prydz on Reddit explaining his stage 4 cancer diagnosis yet wanting to see him live. When it reached Prydz and his team, they decided to fly him out to LA for a show but sadly, before it happened, James passed away.

From the two nights at Sound Nightclub, all the proceeds were donated to cancer research. The night became a celebration of James Lillo’s life and Eric played an incredible set in his super fan’s honor.

Throughout the night, Eric played countless ID tracks, yet one was dedicated to James, named “Lillo ID3.” With such harmonious tracks and an emotional set, it was a night to remember a life, and that music brings us all together. Eric Prydz, his team, and Sound Nightclub raised over $60,000 for Cancer Research Institute. I think we have all made a difference.
