It should be known at all times that Escape SoCal 2016 will carry on the #NotAConcert mantra that Insomniac has blown up on social media, but judging by the lineup announcement made today, there is a clear emphasis on music as a part of that experience. Today saw the announcement of Eric Prydz, Duke Dumont, Armin van Buuren, and Kaskade as the big names on the bill, along with Phace B2B Mefjus B2b Kasra, Zomboy, Spag Heddy leading the charge of the Bassrush stage and for the first time ever Factory 93 will be in charge of the techno as they’re bringing Rødhåd, Chris Liebing, Four Tet and Joris Voorn as well as Richie Hawtin. Check below for the entire Escape SoCal 2016 lineup. Tickets to Escape Halloween 2016 are now on sale.

At Countdown last year, I was having the time of my life during Mercers set! until I left with my friend who was getting dizzy with the lights. It kind of killed having to go from the front to outside the tent :/ It wasn’t for her. This year I pray to be back and enjoy his set in its entirety! Also, headliners are cool/ of course that’s what brings the crowd in.. but for me I also like to ponder around the festival grounds and check out the up and coming artists on the smaller stages! Generally their sets are more intimate. They came here to play for us, probably even debut their first larger event. it never hurts to show them that appreciation of just being there and jamming with their what they put together! Plus you get to find a bunch of them u actually turn to like! You’ll find yourself listening to them in the car the following week! This music means everything to me and I’m all for supporting these artists. Big or small!

It’s nice to show them that appreciation by jamming out to their setfor even a short 10-15 minutes. I love to support them! This music means everything to me, and I’m really excited to see the industry grow

Sonny Fodera, Claude Vonstroke, Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping Doc Martin, DJ EZ, The Magician. Insomniac usually focuses on Bass and Trance music, but im glad that their bringing in more tech house and house djs… It would be beyond epic if Green Velvet/Shiba San/Mark Knight were also coming, but this is an awesome change.
