You may know Fehrplay as the wearer of many hats, as he’s released on Pryda Friends and Anjunabeats among other big labels. The newest product from his studio “Dokebi” is out now as the first track of his with the Armada insignia attached to it. Considering Armin is one of the progressive producer’s favorites, this release marks a crucial point in his career.
The track boasts a gorgeous lead synth and strong foundations in baseline and drums, which lead us to ask where his influence came from. “I’d like to think the powerful melodies and arrangements in classical music still influences how I write and listen to music today,” he says. A good training in theory has been an ingredient in Fehrplay’s secret sauce all along, Dokebi already on a good path to give the same life to a dance floor as orchestras did in hallowed concert halls.
While Fehrplay has been hopping labels with different sides of his sound, he’ll be bringing it all home with his own imprint soon. “I’m in the process of it now. Launching ‘Mood of Mind’ in Q3/4, with a 4 track EP.” His search for new talent is in motion, so any producers who relate to the sound he puts out would be advised to get their tracks polished nicely to submit to the talented producer.
